The best part about making a new reel is, of course, making a ridiculously pretentious and over the top intro. One that takes up half the showreel and poorly attempts to overshadow everything else. Setting that as the benchmark and wanting to try out a new workflow in moi3d I created this.
Almost all the geometry was nurbs modeled in Moi 3D, exported to Cinema 4d and rendered in Octane.
Despite obvious limitations (the topology is terrible and you can't really uv or deform it), It's really fast to create and work with plus the rendered version looks as good as it would if you subdivision modelled it - but a lot less time consuming.
